You may be wondering what happened to my website, well I have decided to make a change. I started this blog for the purpose of posting cookie designs and current information, something I wasn't able to do with my website. I have become aware of some discrepancies between my website and my blog so I have made the decision to use this site only for my business. You will still be able to use www.nannyssugarcookies.com. If you have any questions, or want to place an order click on "Contact Me" at the top of the blog just like you did on my website. If you are looking for cookie ideas please go to "Cookie Themes" on the left side of the home page on this site. I am currently working on adding new Cookie Theme catagories and pictures. Thank you to all my loyal customers... I really appreciate all of you!!!!
I can't believe it's already time to post Easter cookie pictures. Each cookie is individually bagged in a crisp cello bag and tied with 2 coordinating ribbons. Don't you think these would look great in an Easter basket?
I have to admit, I do get a little nervous when I am asked to create a cookie design that I have never done before. My customer wanted cookies for a baby shower in a "bookworm" theme. I was stumped, I do not have a book cutter or any idea for a design so...Google Images, my first step in creating a cookie design. I Googled bookworm clipart. What did we do before the internet???? Here is what I came up with for the "Bookworm" baby shower cookies. The only down side is, each cookie had to be hand-cut, but I am really happy with the end result.
Hand-cut cookie favor (design 1)
The bookworm is a royal icing transfer, isn't he cute?
Hand-cut cookie favor (design 2)
I like to include a special cookie for the Momma-to-be.
One of my favorite shapes made with the Ecrandal Cookie Cutter.
